	The Membership Rewards Program has a variety of tiers available that offer different reward experiences.



	Enrollment in the Membership Rewards Tier of the Program is automatic and complimentary for Cardmembers holding one of the following Charge Cards: American Express Gold Card, The Platinum Card and the Lifetime Card. This Tier provides access to all reward choices. Cardmembers holding an American Express Card or the American Express Corporate Card for Small Business are not automatically enrolled in the Program and must choose to participate and pay the applicable annual fee in order to enroll in the Membership Rewards Tier of the Program. 	Enrollment in the Holt Renfrew Tier of the Program is automatic and complimentary for Cardmembers holding the American Express Holt Renfrew Platinum Card. This Tier provides access to all reward choices plus, only Cardmembers enrolled in this Tier can redeem for Holt Renfrew Gift Cards with special redemption terms.



	Enrollment in the Membership Rewards Credit Card Tier of the Program is automatic and complimentary for Cardmembers holding a Companion Card associated with a Charge Card that is enrolled in the Program. Cardmembers holding an American Express Credit Card or an American Express Tiger Woods Credit Card are not automatically enrolled in the Credit Card Tier and must choose to participate and pay the applicable annual fee in order to enroll in the Credit Card Tier of the Program. This Tier provides access to all rewards available to the Membership Rewards Tier excluding the Aeroplan Program and Points for Credit.



	Enrollment in the Membership Rewards Club Level Tier of the Program is automatic and complimentary for Cardmembers holding the American Express Tiger Woods Credit Card or other Cards designated by American Express. Cardmembers enrolled in the Membership Rewards Club Level Tier are not eligible to redeem points for Points for Credit, Travel Certificates or to transfer points to airline frequent flyer programs participating in the Program.



	The Membership Rewards Select Tier is an optional Tier available only to existing Platinum Card members and platinum Lifetime® Card members. If you choose to enroll in this Tier, you enjoy automatic and complimentary enrollment in the Points Accelerator® Service for the Membership Rewards Select Tier. This means virtually every dollar you charge to your Card and any Supplementary Cards automatically earns 1.5 Membership Rewards points. Points can be redeemed for all reward options, except for transfers to frequent flyer programs. Please note that points earned on any linked Cards (excluding the American Express Corporate Platinum Card) will also accumulate in the Membership Rewards Select Tier and any associated Companion Card will be moved from the Credit Card Tier to the Credit Card Select Tier, as will any other Credit Cards which share the same Membership Rewards Program Account with the Companion Card.



	The Holt Renfrew Select Tier is an optional Tier available only to existing American Express Holt Renfrew Platinum Card members. If you choose to enroll in this Tier, you enjoy automatic and complimentary enrollment in the Points Accelerator Service for the Holt Renfrew Select Tier. This means virtually every dollar you charge to your Card and any Supplementary Cards automatically earns 1.5 Membership Rewards points. Points can be redeemed for Holt Renfrew Gift Cards with special redemption terms and all other reward options, except for transfers to frequent flyer programs.
