Settle Payments and Disputes

It's easy to reconcile American Express payments with your own records.

The American Express payment is made to you at a price equal to the total face value on the Summary of Charge form, less the applicable merchant fee and applicable tax.

If you are receiving payment via direct deposit into your designated bank account, a detailed statement listing all transactions and a tax invoice and/or certificate, as appropriate, will be sent to you for your records.

If you are receiving payment by cheque, a detailed statement describing the accounting steps taken to calculate the total amount being paid will accompany your payment cheque. A tax invoice and/or certificate, as appropriate, will be sent to your for your records.
