A weekend at the beautiful Albergo Pietra Santa hotel in Tuscany never fails to restore me - floating through art galleries, lounging in cafes with my cappuccino, relaxing in a taverna with a glass of wine in one hand, twirling some home-made pasta with the other, and looking out onto the Tuscan hills - emails, deadlines, public transport, what are you talking about?! Thanks to one of American Express's great offers I was able to extend my stay by an extra day for free - enough time for me to really wind down.
