Disability Plan for Small Business Insurance(16)+:
Protect your business against the financial hardships caused by permanent, total disability. Yours at no extra cost. If you, as a Sole Proprietor, become permanently, totally disabled as a direct result of an accident injury, you are eligible to up to $10,000 in benefits. Benefits increase with the length of Card membership. After two years, benefits increase to a maximum of $25,000. After six years, the maximum amount is $50,000. The plan also provides an additional amount of up to $5,000 to cover the cost of maintaining or closing the business. As an additional coverage, if you lose an employee who is a Business Gold Cardmember as a direct result of a permanently, totally disabling accident, your business is entitled to up to $10,000 in benefits to cover the cost of hiring and training a replacement employee.

Travel Accident Insurance(11)+:
You, your spouse and dependent children under the age of 23 are automatically covered with up to $100,000 of accidental death and dismemberment insurance when you travel by a Common Carrier Conveyance such as a plane, train, bus or ship and the entire fares have been charged to the Business Gold Rewards Card.
Car Rental Theft and Damage Insurance(12)+:
When you fully charge a car rental to your Business Gold Rewards Card, and where allowed by law, you will be automatically covered for damage or theft on your rental car, up to its full value. There's no additional charge for this coverage, and you can save the daily insurance fee (usually $16 to $23 per day) charged by the car rental company. Cardmembers can be covered for a period of up to 48 days and coverage amount up to $85,000. This provides coverage against damage, theft, fire and vandalism of rental cars.
Flight and Baggage Delay Insurance(13)+:
When you fully charge your airline tickets to your Business Gold Rewards Card, you receive up to $500 coverage for all reasonable and necessary hotel, motel or restaurant expenses made within 48 hours when you are delayed or denied boarding for more than four hours and no alternate transportation is available. It also includes up to $500 for all immediate daily necessary and reasonable emergency purchases, made within four days, for essential clothing and sundry items when your baggage on your outbound trip is delayed more than six hours. Coverage is for necessary and reasonable emergency purchases because of a flight delay.
Hotel / Motel Burglary Insurance(14)+:
While registered as a guest in a hotel or motel, you will be covered for the replacement of your personal items (excluding cash) up to $500 if your hotel/motel room is burglarized. To be eligible for this coverage, simply book and fully pay your accommodation with your Business Gold Rewards Card.
Travel Emergency Assistance(15)+:

(5) To qualify for a Welcome Bonus of 25,000 points you must have at least $3,000 in net purchases posted to your account in your first 3 months of Card membership. Account must be in good standing. This offer is not applicable to holders of an existing American Express Small Business Card product. Points may be transferred to select third party frequent flyer or loyalty programs participating in the Membership Rewards® program and then redeemed for one economy class round-trip airline ticket. Once points are transferred, they are subject to the terms, conditions and restrictions of such third party programs. Currently, up to 25,000 points are required for a round-trip economy class flight to continental United States (including Alaska) and Canada [plus applicable fees and taxes]. When we stop offering the Welcome Bonus, we reserve the right to accept applications but you will not be eligible for the Welcome Bonus.
