One call, any time of the day or night can help get you back to business as usual as quickly as possible.

American Express Back on Track can provide you with assistance from anywhere in the world, 24 hours a day - 7 days a week. We will provide you with immediate assistance to arrange the cancellation of your registered credit or debit cards if lost or stolen minimising fraudulent transactions and ID theft. American Express Back on Track also provides insurance cover for certain accidental damage, theft and loss of your registered personal valuable items.     Card Protection
    Where you have registered the card details with us American Express Back on Track can assist with arranging the cancellation and re-order* of your lost or stolen cards.

    We not only cover you for the fraudulent use of your registered debit, credit and store cards after theft or loss, but also, where the loss or theft occurs overseas, we will cover you for up to $250 in cash you were carrying with the cards at the time. We can also help you out by assisting you to obtain access to an emergency cash advance if you're stranded. And we'll pay for any charges you attracted when you called us.

    And, if you're changing address, call us and we'll let all your registered card issuers know your new details*.

    You can also register information regarding your valuable documents such as passport and drivers licence so that you will have a record of this information even if they are lost or stolen during the period of your cover. Where you have recorded the expiry date of valuable documents with us, part of our service is to also remind you in advance when they are due for renewal.
    Key Cover
    There's no need to panic if your keys are lost or stolen. Simply calls us and we can arrange for a locksmith to gain access to your home, home office, or car. Naturally, replacement lock and key costs form part of the cover provided by the product*.

    Cover can also extend to car hire costs if your car needs to be retained for repairs or lock replacement, or hotel accommodation if you can't return home after loss of your keys.

    Key tags will be provided to you so that in the event that they are lost they can be returned to us and we will contact you to arrange for their return.      


    Gadgets & Personal Possessions Insurance
    American Express Back on Track provides cover* for certain accidental damage, loss or theft of registered:
    • Gadgets such as your laptop, MP3 players, camera, hand held games machine, camcorders, satellite navigation or portable DVD player, and;
    • Personal Possessions such as your prescription glasses, jewellery, watches and contact lenses.


    Mobile Phone Insurance 
    Register your mobile or BlackberryTM with us to obtain cover* for loss, theft and accidental damage. We'll also provide cover against unauthorised calls for both contract and pay-as-you-go devices.
