How it works
    Choose from Credit Protector or Credit Protector Plus to help assist in the event of:
    • Being unable to engage in your usual employment due to sickness or accident, or involuntary unemployment – Credit Protector provides cover for Credit Card repayments of 6% of the outstanding Card balance printed on the monthly statement, for up to 6 months, up to a maximum of $50,000^.
    • An accidental death or serious accident – Credit Protector provides cover for the outstanding Credit Card balance at the time of the event, up to a maximum of $50,000^.
    • Life Events – Credit Protector Plus provides 2 monthly payments of 6% of the outstanding Credit Card balance at the time of a Life Event, for up to 2 Life Events, including getting married, buying a new house or change of employer, to a maximum of $25,000 ^.

Two levels of cover to choose from
    Choose from either Credit Protector or Credit Protector Plus and you could be covered for:
    • Serious Accident^
    • Accidental Injury preventing you from engaging in your usual employment^
    •  Sickness preventing you from engaging in your usual employment^
    •  Involuntary Unemployment^
    •  Accidental Death^
    • Life Events^ (getting married, buying a home, moving residences, adoption or birth of a child, change of employer, divorce) – Only applicable to Credit Protector Plus
    •  Credit Protector costs $0.69 per $100 of your monthly outstanding balance shown on your statement. So, for a monthly outstanding balance of $3,000, premium would be $20.70.
    • To be covered by all the benefits provided by Credit Protector, plus Life Events, choose Credit Protector Plus for the cost of $0.89 per $100 of your monthly outstanding balance shown on your statement. So, for a monthly outstanding balance of $3,000, premium would be $26.70.
